Zeke Sanders Psy.D
Dr. Sanders grew up in Santa Cruz, CA and after graduating high school he moved to Oregon and attended Oregon State University. During his undergraduate work, he found a passion for psychology and decided to pursue a career as a psychologist. He received his doctorate in clinical psychology from George Fox University and completed most of his predoctoral training at the Portland VA Health Care System and Oregon Heath & Sciences University. He completed his residency at University of Texas Health & Science Center San Antonio before moving back to Oregon and completing a health psychology fellowship at the Portland VA. Since then, he has spent his career working for Providence Medical Group and the St. Charles Health System. His areas of specialty training are in health psychology, psychological assessment, and the integration of psychology and theology. He has a passion for the behavioral treatment of chronic health conditions and helping people adjust to serious physical ailments or the aging process.
Dr. Sanders offers brief and tradition cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and mindfulness-based treatment, and other gold-standard approaches to effectively target issues and meet the unique needs of each patient.
Dr. Sanders is a self-proclaimed family man with a wife and three young children. When not spending time with his family, his primary hobbies typically include house projects, hunting, fishing, barbecuing, brewing, fermenting, gardening, watching football, and exercising. While he is always up for a good adventure, he also finds great enjoyment in the small things such as taking his kids to the park, evening walks, and the discovery of a new restaurant.
